Data and Security Questions
Below are answers to common questions about data and security. Our goal is to be clear, honest, and transparent about how we handle your information.
Do you have a Privacy Policy and a Terms of Service?

Do you have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?
By default, the App keeps data on‑device and Mycelian does not act as a processor. If you require a DPA for specific enterprise workflows where we would process data, contact us at hello@mycelian.ai.
Do you track usage and collect data on your website?
No. We do not run analytics cookies, third‑party pixels, or ad trackers on mycelian.ai. Our hosting provider may maintain transient server logs for security; we do not use them to track individuals.
What do you use to track usage in the App?
Nothing. The App does not send telemetry of any kind.
How do you manage customer accounts?
We use Lemon Squeezy to manage all customer accounts, payments, and license keys. All customer data is handled and stored by Lemon Squeezy.
What about my data when using Mycelian products?
Your content, history, models, settings, and prompts remain on your device. If you connect to a cloud‑based LLM or third‑party tools, your data may leave your device and be handled under their policies.
Can I request for my data to be removed?
We don’t retain App data. To remove local data, uninstall the App or clear its data directories. If you’ve shared contact info with us (e.g., support), email hello@mycelian.ai to request deletion.
Are you HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001 certified?
Not yet. We are aligning with industry best practices and will pursue relevant certifications as we scale.
How do you handle updates?
Updates are delivered securely and verified. We never include tracking or data collection mechanisms in updates.
Do you use secured connections with online models?
Yes. All communications use HTTPS/TLS.
Anything else to know for good data security?
Integrations with external services (e.g., cloud LLMs, web search, or third‑party tools) may process your data. Review their privacy policies and terms before enabling them.
